Active encouragement of skills training

In 2000, Birchcroft established its own Training Centre which has been fully-certified as a Training and Assessment Centre by the C.I.T.B. The curriculum includes courses leading to formal qualifications such as CORGI registration and Water Regulations registration; Health & Safety courses; and courses in business and customer service skills.

Birchcroft is the only company in the region to have invested in setting up such a facility – having long recognised the skills shortage in the industry. That’s also why Birchcroft actively encourages other companies – including direct competitors – to send their own staff on courses at the Training Centre.

Birchcroft Training provides training courses for Gas, Electrical and Plumbing Operatives who wish to improve their skills or learn new ones. The following are a selection of the courses we run at our new training centre in Romford, Essex, just 3 minutes from the M25 Junction 28 (A12):-

We understand that training and assessment can be a very daunting prospect for those of us who have not been in a classroom for many years, and we pride ourselves in being able to treat candidates as individuals with individual needs. Our training staff are both highly qualified, whilst being able to carry out the Training or Assessments in very relaxed friendly atmosphere.
