Any person considered to be guilty of deliberate prejudicial behaviour against any of the aforementioned groups, will be in breach of this policy, which will constitute a disciplinary offence which will be dealt with in accordance with this company's 'Disciplinary Procedure'.
To ensure that direct or indirect discrimination does not occur during recruitment, this company will undertake to openly invite job applications via methods which are not likely to result in any group being disadvantaged, e.g. Newspapers, Job Centres. Furthermore, any such adverts will state that "Birchcroft is an Equal Opportunity employer" and that applications are welcomed from all persons suitably qualified, regardless of their race, colour, ethnic origin or gender.
